Top Five Reasons I wanted to start a blog

1. I hate to miss out on a trend. I’m hoping to not regret this like pegged jeans and big bangs (sorry ozone layer).
2. I Have opinions and like to share.
3. I read a lot of blogs, and one day I had this thought: “Hey I’m interesting too!” Let’s hope that pans out.
4. I’ve been looking for an outlet for top five lists.
5. I made a news years resolution to start a blog. Actually, I thought of that after we already had it all set up and a theme picked. But hey, I have totally followed through on a resolution!

So who is Rebecca Homecca?

Rebecca Homecca (Becky for short) is what my mom calls me when I do anything particularly domestic. She is teasing me of course, because it has been quite a process in my domestic journey. So to be a Rebecca Homecca, take a 1950’s home-ec class, mix it with a modern woman, shake it up and add a dash of sass.

This is not a “theme” blog though, revolving only around domestic issues. Basically I plan on talking about all things I love and whatever I want. You know, freedom of speech and all that. See my “About” section to see possible topics.
